Job summary

Opal HealthCare is hiring a Wellbeing Manager for Carlingford Greens Care Community in Sydney’s north-west. You will lead the Meaningful Life program and enrich residents’ daily experiences with physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.

• Experience leading wellbeing programs in aged care or similar.
• Strong creativity and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and develop a care team.
• Demonstrated ability to design engaging resident activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program of events and activities supporting resident wellbeing.
• Develop personalised engagement plans celebrating residents’ backgrounds.
• Coach and mentor care staff for meaningful daily interactions.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a diverse and engaging program of events and activities that support physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.
• Develop personalised engagement plans for residents, celebrating their unique backgrounds, preferences, and passions.
• Coach and mentor our care team to deliver meaningful, daily interactions with residents.
• Work closely with clinical and allied health teams to support resident mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
• Be the creative driver behind a vibrant community culture where every resident can thrive.

What You'll Need:

• A passion for enriching the lives of others and creating joyful experiences.
• Experience in program coordination, lifestyle, wellbeing, or a similar role (aged care highly regarded).
• Excellent creativity, organisation, and communication skills.
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to coach and support a team.
• A relevant qualification in health, aged care, community services, or leisure & lifestyle is desirable.
• Willingness to complete: Pre-employment medical, Police check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
