Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Maintenance Officer for Carlingford Greens Care Community, a brand-new facility opening in 2027. The role focuses on leading a Meaningful Life program to enrich residents’ lives, within a dedicated team in Sydney’s north-west.

The position offers permanent full-time employment, with a Monday to Friday schedule (9am–5pm) and an attractive base salary plus 12% superannuation. Opal HealthCare supports career development and specialised wellbeing training.

Qualifications

Experience in program coordination, lifestyle, wellbeing, or a similar role (aged care highly regarded).

Responsibilities

Lead a diverse and engaging program of events and activities that support physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.
Develop personalised engagement plans for residents, celebrating their unique backgrounds, preferences, and passions.
Coach and mentor our care team to deliver meaningful, daily interactions with residents.
Work closely with clinical and allied health teams to support resident mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
