Job summary

Opal HealthCare is opening Carlingford Greens Care Community in Sydney's north-west and seeks a Wellbeing Manager to build the Meaningful Life program from day one. You will design engaging experiences, connect with residents, families and staff, and shape a vibrant community where people feel valued and at home.

You will collaborate with clinical teams, drive personalised engagement, and coach staff to deliver joyful daily interactions that enhance quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• A passion for enriching the lives of others and creating joyful experiences.
• Experience in program coordination, lifestyle, wellbeing, or a similar role (aged care highly regarded).
• Excellent creativity, organisation, and communication skills.
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to coach and support a team.
• A relevant qualification in health, aged care, community services, or leisure & lifestyle is desirable.
• Willingness to complete: Pre-employment medical, NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continually evolve our Meaningful Life program to create engaging and enriching resident experiences.
• Develop personalised engagement plans for residents, celebrating their unique backgrounds, preferences, and passions.
• Coach and mentor our care team to deliver meaningful, daily interactions with residents.
• Work closely with clinical and allied health teams to support resident mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
• Champion a positive, inclusive and vibrant community where residents can thrive.
