Holy Cross School, Trinity Park, is seeking a School Learning Officer (Wellbeing) to maximise student learning by assisting teachers in delivering structured programs. The role supports students identified with PLP/HIP needs in small group and 1:1 settings while ensuring safety and wellbeing within a Catholic education context.

The position is term-time, fixed term until 21 January 2028, 29.6 hours per week, located at Holy Cross School.

Qualifications

• Hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
• Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.

Responsabilités

• Assist teachers to deliver learning programs in small group and/or 1:1 settings.
• Support student learning aligned with personalised learning plans (PLP) and highly individualised programs (HIP).
• Collaborate with teachers and staff, participate in care team, PLP and HIP meetings, and safety meetings.
• Provide supervision and support to students requiring substantial and extensive adjustments inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with setting up classroom and other learning environments and perform administrative tasks.
