Hyundai Rotem Company in Australia is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop and maintain welding procedures, documents and standards for rollingstock carbody assemblies. You will work with site welding teams, JV partners and international design teams to ensure quality, compliance and safe production.

The role requires leading ToT for welding technologies, ensuring ISO 3834, EN 15085 and AWS compliance, and coordinating with safety teams to deliver defect-free, reliable trains on schedule.

Competenze

• IWE certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of EN15085 and ISO 3834 standards.
• Minimum 5 years in stainless steel rollingstock carbody production engineering.
• Proficiency in CATIA and/or AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain welding documentation including WPS.
• Collaborate with site welding teams and JV partners.
• Lead ToT phase for welding technologies and robotics.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 3834, EN 15085, AWS.
• Define welding methods, equipment and tooling for production.
• Troubleshoot welding issues on the shop floor and implement corrective actions.
• Balance production line by analyzing resources and cycle times.
