Job summary

Frontline Manufacturing Pty Ltd in Meadowbrook, QLD is seeking a skilled Welder with extensive robotic welding experience for a full-time permanent role. You will operate TIG and MIG welders, calibrate and program robotic welding cells, and design fixtures to streamline production.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of robotic welding experience, is proficient in programming and operating robotic welding systems, and can ensure weld quality through parameter control and inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified welder/boilermaker (Cert III or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years robotic welding experience.
• Experience programming and operating robotic welders.

Responsibilities

• Operate TIG and MIG welders.
• Calibrate the robotic welding cell; develop, test and optimise robotic welding programs.
• Develop robotic welding programs to transition manually welded assemblies to robotic production; design weld fixtures.
• Establish weld parameters, sequences and quality-control routines for components.
• Operate the robotic cell; resolve issues as they arise; conduct welding inspections.

Location : Meadowbrook QLD Frontline Manufacturing Pty Ltd is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Welder with extensive robotic welding experience to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate TIG and MIG welders Calibrate the new robotic welding cell; develop, test and optimise robotic welding programs;
• develop robotic welding programs to transition manually welded assemblies to robotic production; design and build the welding jigs and fixtures required for robotic operation; establish weld parameters, sequences and quality-control routines for each component;
• operate the robotic cell and resolve technical issues as they arise; and clean up welds on program completion conduct welding inspections as directed throughout factory

Requirements

Qualified welder/boilermaker (cert 3 or equivalent) 3 years min robotic welding experience, programming and operating
