Programmed Maintenance Services – Crestmead QLD is seeking an experienced Welder for a stable, production-focused role. You will perform MIG and spot welding on 1.55mm sheet metal, join steel components, and manufacture garage door parts within a supportive, experienced team.

Ideal candidates have MIG welding experience, sheet metal familiarity, and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced setting. This full-time position offers consistent schedules and on-site work in Crestmead.

Qualifications

  • Previous MIG welding experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with sheet metal or light fabrication.

Responsibilities

  • MIG and spot welding of 1.55mm sheet metal.

  • Working to production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.

Are you an experienced Welder looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join a well-established steel building products manufacturer based in Crestmead.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Welder to utilise their skills in a stable, production-focused manufacturing environment, working as part of an experienced team.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • MIG and spot welding of 1.55mm sheet metal

  • Joining and welding steel components together during the manufacturing of steel building products

  • Manufacturing garage door components and other light sheet metal products

  • Positioning and aligning steel components correctly

  • Performing welding, fabrication and assembly tasks

  • Working to production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Handling metal components and performing repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods

  • Following workplace health and safety procedures

  • Working efficiently as part of a production-focused team
