Job summary

Solo Resource Recovery in Chinderah NSW is seeking a trade-qualified Welder/Fabricator Tradesman to join the workshop team. The role focuses on the manufacture of waste compaction equipment, with duties including reading drawings and performing MIG, TIG and Stick welding.

The position is full-time with an immediate start and offers a competitive base rate, overtime opportunities, and on-the-job training in a professional, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification and welding experience required.
• Skilled in heavy, medium and light fabrication.
• Experience with MIG/TIG/Stick welding and reading engineering drawings.
• Familiar with Workplace OHS requirements.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and trade qualified Welder/Fabricator Tradesman, based inour workshop in Chinderah NSW. The role is full time, with annual wage ranging between $70,000 - $82,000 p/a depending on the successful applicant's experience.

The role is full time, and directly involved in the manufacture of waste compaction equipment.

With an immediate start available, the successful applicant will possess:

• Trade Qualification
• Must be skilled in heavy, medium, and light fabrication
• Skills in MIG, TIG and Stick Welding
• The ability to work from engineering drawings
• Familiarity with Workplace OHS requirements
• Solid communication and organisational ability

Experience in hydraulics or some fitting and turning experience is not essential but would be an advantage, as would a heavy vehicle license / forklift licence.
