Job summary

Buildability Group Professional Roles in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Welder / Fabricator (MIG & TIG) in Western Sydney on a temp-to-permanent basis. This role offers stable, consistent hours in a clean workshop with the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well‑established manufacturer.

You will weld aluminium and stainless steel, fabricate and assemble custom metal products, read engineering drawings, and perform finishing work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience with aluminium and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• High attention to detail and workmanship.
• Reliable with strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Description

Welder / Fabricator (MIG & TIG) – Western Sydney

Looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a growing Australian manufacturing business? We’re seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricatorin Western Sydney on a temp-to-permanent basis.

This role offers consistent hours, a clean workshop environment, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established manufacturer specialising in custom metal fabrication.

What’s on Offer?

• Up to $40 per hour + super (dependent on experience)
• Temp-to-permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Ongoing, stable work with overtime available when required
• Supportive team environment
• Western Sydney location with onsite parking

Key Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel components
• Fabrication and assembly of custom metal products
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

About You

• Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding
• Strong background working with aluminium and stainless steel

Desirable

• Experience within sheet metal or custom fabrication environments
• Forklift licence
• Experience operating fabrication equipment and workshop machinery
