The Metal Shop in the Canberra region is seeking qualified boilermakers for a busy workshop in Queanbeyan, with an immediate start. You will work across metal fabrication, site welding, and reading shop drawings to deliver quality fabrications.

Qualifications
- White Card required for site work.
- Silica awareness or willingness to obtain.
- Current driver’s licence required.
- Forklift licence preferred.
- Basic computer skills are expected.
- Experience in a fabrication/machine workshop is preferred.
- Rights to work in Australia are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Leadership qualities are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication including sheet metal fabrication.
- Site welding and metalwork.
- Interpret technical shop drawings and work autonomously.
- Quality control of fabrications.
- Site measuring and verification.
- Comply with OH&S regulations and procedures.

Metal fabrication-including sheet metal fabrication
Site welding
Mig/Tig/Stick Welding
Interpret technical shop drawings and work autonomously
Quality control of fabrications
Site measuring
Complying with all OH&S regulations and procedures
Key skills and experience
White Card (essential)
