Job summary

Heidelberg Materials invites applications for a Weighbridge & Quarry Operator at Sancrox Quarry, near Port Macquarie. The role balances admin duties with hands-on operation, including weighbridge work, loader use, and potential excavator/dump truck tasks if licensed.

The position is full-time, with early starts, Monday to Friday and possible Saturdays. You’ll support compliance, manage orders and liaise with contractors in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and customer service skills.
• Ability to balance administrative tasks with field operations.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate weighbridge and process outgoing load tickets accurately.
• Coordinate daily Truck & Dog fleet allocation.
• Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders.
• Handle phone inquiries, orders and admin tasks.
• Support site compliance and ad hoc admin activities.
• Maintain quarry documentation and stationery.
• Assist sales and production, including PO processing and invoicing.
• Operate sales loader and assist with excavator/dump truck if licensed.
