Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling is seeking a Weighbridge Operator at our Wetherill Park site, reporting to the Branch Manager. You will weigh incoming scrap, prepare receipts, and complete data entry per vendor procedures and policies.

Full training is provided and prior weighbridge experience is not essential. The role involves accurate weight recording, payments processing, and ensuring compliant operations with COR awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in admin/weighbridge operations or willingness to learn
• Desirable COR knowledge
• Desirable understanding of HR & MC Vehicle configurations
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude

Responsibilities

• Accurately record vehicle weights and material types, ensuring documentation is complete and driver signatures are obtained
• Process payments and manage account transactions with accuracy
• Coordinate with transport operators onsite and manage weighbridge functions safely
• Verify drivers entering/exiting have correct documentation
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Inspect incoming loads for site licence compliance and approved waste types
• Process delivery notes and tickets promptly
• Communicate site rules clearly to weighbridge customers and provide guidance for safe operations

Job description

Based at our Wetherill Park site and reporting to the Branch Manager, the Weighbridge Operator, will play a vital role in customer service, data processing, and vehicle weighing. You will accurately weigh incoming scrap, prepare receipt documentation for customers and suppliers, and complete data entry in accordance with vendor payment procedures and InfraBuild Recycling policies.

Full training will be provided and previous weighbridge experience is not essential.

What you will be doing:

• Accurately record vehicle weights and material types, ensuring all documentation is completed and driver signatures are obtained
• Process payments and manage account transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Coordinate with transport operators onsite and manage all weighbridge functions safely and effectively
• Verify that all drivers entering and exiting the site hold the correct documentation
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Inspect incoming loads to ensure compliance with site licence conditions and approved waste types
• Process delivery notes and tickets with precision and in a timely manner
• Communicate site rules clearly to weighbridge customers and provide guidance to ensure safe and compliant operations
