Job summary

Rio Tinto in the Pilbara region is seeking a Weekly Scheduler for the Mobile Equipment Maintenance team to deliver well-planned weekly maintenance schedules for large-scale mobile earthmoving equipment. You will report to the Superintendent Planning and Engineering and develop executable plans balancing safety, cost, quality, and resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning or scheduling within heavy industry.
• Proficiency with CMMS and work management processes.
• Advanced Excel and scheduling tools for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executable weekly schedules using data, resources and strategies.
• Review labour, equipment and material availability to optimise sequence.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and leaders to align resources and critical paths.
• Monitor schedule loading, utilisation and progress, identify constraints and improve plans.
• Reschedule deferred work and maintain schedule accuracy through governance.
• Manage schedule loss events and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Analyse data to improve shutdown planning and scheduling outcomes.
• Support contractor close-out activities including invoicing and admin.
