About the Role

JBS Pork Australia – Farming Team is currently recruiting a Piggery Attendant to support the team at our Pyramid Hill site.

This full-time position will be responsible for undertaking animal husbandry and related tasks to assistin the care and well-being of Company livestock, along with basic maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care, feed, and water for stock.
• Care for sick or injured stock.
• Apply animal identification systems.
• Move, draft and weigh stock.
• Administer routine treatments.
• Transport stock, feed, and equipment.
• Operate farm vehicles, plant, machinery, and equipment.
• Maintain machinery, equipment, sheds, fixtures, fittings, fences, and surrounds.
• Update manual and electronic production records and interpret data.
• Clean accommodation pens, fixtures, fittings, equipment, amenities, and other buildings.
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience working with animals (preferred but not essential)

Sound work ethic with high self-motivation

Working knowledge of WHS and QA

Preparedness to work someweekends andpublic holidays

Fitness levels to cope with the physical nature of the role
