Qualifications

• Three years' post-graduate experience in risk, compliance, controls assurance or a comparable role.
• Knowledge of risk management, compliance and regulatory frameworks within financial services.
• Experience conducting risk analysis, control assessments, compliance monitoring or assurance reviews.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to identify material trends and risks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, ambiguity and changing priorities in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Embed and maintain risk and compliance frameworks across Wealth & Capital Markets, providing practical guidance.
• Produce regular and ad hoc management reporting, analyse risk and compliance information to identify trends.
• Identify and document key controls, assess design and effectiveness, and address control gaps.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ASIC updates, support compliance monitoring and assurance activities.
• Maintain risk and compliance registers within Governance, Risk and Compliance systems.
• Develop and deliver targeted training, guidance and communications on risk and controls.
• Provide risk input into projects and business changes, including customer/investor communications.
• Coordinate incident, issue and action management through to closure and assist audits.
