Job summary

Specialized Cleaning Group is seeking a hands-on Heavy Diesel Mechanic for our Padstow fleet in Sydney. The role involves servicing, maintenance and repairs across road sweepers, trucks and related equipment.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults, attend breakdowns and help reduce downtime while keeping records up to date. Based in Padstow, you’ll collaborate with the operations team to ensure safe, ready-for-work vehicles.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified heavy diesel or heavy vehicle mechanic.
• Experience on road sweepers, tipper trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
• Strong fault-finding skills with a practical approach and attention to detail.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently with operations team.

Responsibilities

Specialized Cleaning Group is looking for an experienced, hands-on Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Padstow and keep our fleet of road sweepers, trucks and associated equipment running at its best.

Worked on road sweepers, tipper trucks or other heavy vehicles? We’d like to hear from you. Road sweeper experience is highly regarded, but it isn’t essential if you have a solid heavy vehicle background and the right skills.

We’re looking for someone who can diagnose problems properly, work independently and take pride in getting the job done right.
