Chiosco by Ormeggio, a vibrant Italian trattoria on the waterfront at The Spit, Mosman, invites applications for a Section Waiter eager to deliver warm, professional service. You will manage your own section, take orders, and contribute to a smooth service in a celebrated Sydney venue.

We offer staff meals, uniforms, tips share, ongoing training, and access to an employee wellbeing program, with opportunities to develop within Maestro Hospitality's waterfront portfolio.

Competenze

• 1 year minimum experience as Section Waiter in a busy restaurant.
• Experience with Italian cuisine preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and wine with pairing recommendations.
• Ability to safely carry three plates.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Energetic, positive and team‑oriented attitude.
• Current NSW RSA Certificate (mandatory).
• Full Australian working rights.
• Experience with SevenRooms reservation system (advantageous).

• Set and reset tables to venue standards.
• Confidently manage your own section during service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently throughout service.
• Provide knowledgeable food and wine pairing recommendations.
