Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Process Engineer to join its Ballarat operations, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will work across a broad range of operational and capital improvement projects, from investigation and planning through to implementation and review.

You will analyse plant performance, troubleshoot process issues and look for better ways of working, combining hands-on technical problem solving, project delivery and professional reporting to influence safety, compliance, efficiency and

Qualifications

• A degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with wastewater treatment processes.
• Project management or project delivery experience.
• Strong technical report writing and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse water and wastewater treatment performance
• Troubleshoot process issues; conduct root cause investigations
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement and asset upgrades
• Manage projects from scoping to implementation and handover
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and technical recommendations
• Support incident response, audits and quality management activities
• Collaborate with operations, clients, contractors and specialists
• Participate in the operations on call roster
