Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Process Engineer to provide dedicated onsite process engineering support across advanced drinking water treatment plants in the Bendigo region.

You will work closely with plant operators, analyse data to identify risks and opportunities, lead process reviews and implement practical changes, and contribute to capital planning and upgrades.

This on-site role requires a tertiary engineering degree and experience with water treatment, with travel between Veolia sites expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with a focus applicable to water treatment.
• Experience with water treatment processes.
• Ability to interpret water quality and process data.
• Practical troubleshooting and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise drinking water treatment processes across the Bendigo region.
• Analyse operational, laboratory and monitoring data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot plant performance and water quality issues with plant operators.
• Lead process reviews and investigations and recommend practical process changes.
• Develop and implement process control approaches to improve plant performance.
• Contribute to plant upgrades, capital planning and strategic goals for the operations.
• Prepare process performance, client and operational reports.
• Support audits, compliance monitoring and quality management activities.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
