Job summary

Veolia is hiring a Process Engineer for Bendigo operations to provide dedicated on-site process engineering support across advanced drinking water treatment plants in the region. You will work closely with plant operators to analyze data, identify optimisation opportunities, and drive plant improvements, upgrades and capital planning.

The role focuses on maintaining water quality, compliance, and environmental performance while delivering practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise drinking water treatment processes across the Bendigo region
• Analyse operational, laboratory and monitoring data to identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Troubleshoot plant performance and water quality issues with plant operators
• Lead process reviews and investigations and recommend practical process changes
• Develop and implement process control approaches to improve plant performance
• Contribute to plant upgrades, capital planning and strategic goals for the operations
• Prepare process performance, client and operational reports
• Support audits, compliance monitoring and quality management activities
• Communicate technical findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
