Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver sustainable, profitable service in Gladstone, Australia. The role focuses on supporting existing operations, enabling new opportunities, and maintaining safety, quality and compliance across client sites.

You will monitor plant parameters, assist with commissioning and training, and work closely with account management to ensure customer satisfaction. This hands-on, field-based role requires travel and strong customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science or suitable trades certification required.
• Willingness to travel locally approximately 20-25% of the time.
• Hands-on work in field or lab as needed.
• Strong external focus with ability to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service support across Gladstone client sites.
• Monitor plant operational parameters and report findings to management.
• Carry out maintenance, commissioning and calibration activities at customer sites as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment and ethics guidelines at all times.
• Maintain and update equipment records, test parameters and chemical usage data.
