Job summary

Veolia Australia is seeking a Field Service Representative/Engineer in the Mackay region to monitor plant performance, troubleshoot equipment and support client operations. You will manage chemical dosing equipment, maintain records, and liaise with client teams to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications

• Professional or trade background with hands-on water treatment experience.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
• Effective communication and customer relationship skills.
• Good mechanical knowledge and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess plant performance; provide feedback to customers and Veolia management.
• Collect samples and corrosion coupons; prepare, label, and ship to lab.
• Install, service and supply water quality and monitoring equipment; maintain stock.
• Perform preventative maintenance on dosing pumps and related equipment.
• Record test parameters and chemical usage in InSight and Veolia databases.
• Provide technical support and participate in team meetings with account/area managers.
