Qualifications

• Strong electrical or mechanical background in utilities or industrial settings.
• Experience in the water sector is highly desirable but not essential.
• Proficient IT skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Full UK driving licence and a safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment sites to ensure performance.
• Carry out planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns promptly.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical tasks as part of maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and improve plant equipment using technical knowledge.
• Plan and prioritise workload to meet maintenance schedules.
• Follow health, safety and environmental standards and safe systems of work.
• Review risk assessments and safe working procedures.
• Ensure quality standards and compliance are met.
• Build relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate understanding of site design, processes and operational principles.
