Synergy is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Operator to run our water treatment plants on active project sites in NSW. You will set up, operate and monitor mobile treatment equipment, perform field tests, manage chemical dosing and ensure compliance with discharge licences.

On offer is a full-time role with travel to interstate sites as needed, and a company vehicle. Role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, WHS White Card, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Experienced with either a full trade and/or degree qualification.
• Operation / maintenance and associated building of water treatment systems – 5 years min experience.
• Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Construction Induction White Card (or equivalent).
• Fluent English read/write/speaking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate and monitor mobile water treatment and dewatering plant
• Carry out field testing (pH, turbidity, EC, DO) and collect samples for lab analysis
• Manage chemical dosing, including flocculants, coagulants and pH correction
• Keep discharge within licence and consent conditions, and keep accurate daily records
• Handle sludge and solids, including filter press or geobag dewatering
• Do routine maintenance, fault-finding and minor repairs on pumps, tanks and dosing systems
• Help with plant mobilisation and demobilisation
• Work with Manager – Water Treatment, clients, environmental consultants and report any issues early.
