Job summary

Western Downs Regional Council seeks a Network Operator to carry out construction and maintenance on water and sewer infrastructure. You will operate Medium Rigid trucks and related machinery, perform routine servicing and assist with safety controls.

The role may involve afterhours standby, traffic control duties and manual labour as directed by the site supervisor. A MR licence is required and a strong commitment to WHS is essential.

Qualifications

• MR licence is required to operate vehicles and equipment.
• Previous experience in water/sewer infrastructure is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction and maintenance on water and sewer infrastructure.
• Operate Medium Rigid trucks and related machinery.
• Perform routine servicing and inspections of vehicles and equipment.
