Bathurst Regional Council is seeking a strategic leader to provide overall direction for water and sewer services, ensuring safe and sustainable delivery to the community. The role covers operation, maintenance, renewal and future development of the Water Filtration Plant, Wastewater Treatment Works, reticulation, and trade waste functions.
You will ensure compliance with NSW health and EPA regulations, drive continuous improvement, and oversee capital projects and regulatory reporting.

The role oversees the operation, maintenance, renewal and future development of Council's water and sewer infrastructure, including the Water Filtration Plant, Wastewater Treatment Works, reticulation, and trade waste functions.
The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, government guidelines, and Council policies, while driving continuous improvement in service delivery, asset management, infrastructure planning, and operational performance.

Salary:$2,106.45 to $2,213.07 per week + 12% superannuation
Position Status:Permanent – Full-time
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:45 pm - 35 hours per week with an RDO every third week
