Job summary

Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking reliable Labourers to join the Water Services team. You will assist in maintenance, construction and operation of the water network and infrastructure.

Key duties include pipe laying, flushing networks, meter reading, and operating plant while maintaining safe, compliant work sites. All licences and qualifications must be current; click for full details.

Qualifications

• Experience in labouring, civil construction or water infrastructure works.
• Ability to perform physical tasks safely.
• Current MR Licence or ability to obtain.
• White Card held.
• RII plant tickets desirable (skid steer & excavator).

Responsibilities

• Pipe laying and water main repairs.
• Flushing networks and chlorinating new installations.
• Meter reading and clearing blockages.
• Operating plant, vehicles and equipment.
• Maintaining safe and compliant work sites.
• Completing required documentation.
