Job summary

Central Coast Council NSW is seeking a Technical Officer to support the water and sewer networks and maintenance activities. You will report to the Lead Operations Engineer and contribute to project delivery, including planning, design reviews, and resource coordination.

You will also respond to enquiries, provide technical advice to stakeholders, and help create community value through quality service. This permanent full-time role offers a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Water Operations or equivalent demonstrated experience in water/sewer.
• Construction General Induction Card (NSW SafeWork) or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in water/sewer operation, maintenance, or construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational technical support for water and sewer networks.
• Contribute to planning, reviewing designs and coordinating resources for projects.
• Respond to water and sewer enquiries with technical advice to stakeholders.
