Job summary

East Gippsland Water is recruiting an Integrated Water Management Officer on a 2-year fixed-term contract to coordinate IWM initiatives across the East Gippsland region. You will work with local government, water authorities and Traditional Owners to drive collaborative projects that deliver environmental, social and economic benefits.

The role focuses on identifying funding opportunities, supporting grant applications, and reporting on funded programs while fostering partnerships to achieve

Qualifications

• Ability to analyse and collate data and information to prepare reports and funding applications to a high standard.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Proven project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting to partners and funders.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the East Gippsland IWM Program and Strategic Direction Statement.
• Build partnerships with government, agencies and stakeholders to improve IWM outcomes.
• Contribute to IWM projects, programs and water efficiency initiatives across the region.
• Coordinate collaboration between councils, water corporations, Traditional Owners, CMAs and state agencies.
• Prepare funding applications, project budgets, and risk registers.
