Job summary

East Gippsland Water is seeking an Integrated Water Management Officer to coordinate IWM initiatives across the East Gippsland region, working closely with local government, water authorities, Traditional Owners and regional partners to improve water outcomes for communities and the environment.

• Ability to identify funding opportunities and support grant submissions.
• Strong collaboration across government, agencies and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the East Gippsland Integrated Water Management (IWM) Program and Strategic Direction Statement.
• Build partnerships with government, agencies and stakeholders to strengthen IWM outcomes.
• Contribute to IWM projects, programs and water efficiency initiatives across the region.
• Coordinate collaboration between councils, water corporations, Traditional Owners, CMAs and state agencies.
• Provide advice to support IWM Forum objectives and priorities.
• Assist with planning, design and delivery of collaborative IWM projects.
• Develop funding applications, project budgets, risk registers and supporting documentation.
• Support grant submissions on behalf of IWM Forum member organisations.
• Ensure projects deliver environmental, social, cultural, community and economic benefits.
• Support implementation of regional IWM strategies and funded programs.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on project progress, budgets, outcomes and funded activities.
• Provide administrative support, including meeting coordination and grant administration.
• Maintain high-quality, timely work and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
