Job summary

Water Infrastructure Services is seeking a skilled Construction & Maintenance Technician to join our SE Queensland team on a full-time basis. You will undertake maintenance, repair, and construction of water infrastructure assets, contributing to the reliability and safety of our water systems.

The role involves hands-on work with roofing, concrete, pipework and structural tasks, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
High Risk Tickets (EWP, Scaffolding, Forklift).
Construction Card.
Driver's license.
Commitment to safety, compliance and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Carry out roofing, structural repairs, installation, and asset maintenance.
Deliver construction and maintenance works to a high standard.
Coating, pressure washing, surface preparation; roof remediation and structural repairs.
Pipework installation and reservoir refurbishment and maintenance.
Adhere to Quality, Safety and Environment and company policies.
