Job summary

Sunwater is seeking an Operator Maintainer in Queensland to ensure water distribution, system monitoring and perform preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on infrastructure. You'll work with a on-call roster 1 in 2 weekends and be part of a safety-focused, hands-on team.

Candidates should hold a C Class licence, Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (or able to obtain), and aim for a Certificate III in Water Operations.

Qualifications

• A current C Class driver's licence.
• Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets, or the ability to obtain them.
• Certificate III in Water Operations.
• Willingness to work outdoors and perform physically active work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational and maintenance activities safely and efficiently, in line with business processes and compliance requirements.
• Conduct fault analysis, recommend solutions, and identify risks and mitigations.
• Maintain surveillance of water supply infrastructure and provide timely feedback on asset condition and performance.
