Job summary

Barwon Water is seeking a Project Director to lead a complex major capital project from development through to delivery and operational transition. You’ll manage scope, cost, schedule, quality and benefits, operating across multiple stakeholder environments and funding streams.

You’ll partner with sponsors and executives, resolve complex commercial and technical challenges, and shape outcomes that deliver long-term regional value.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree and/or master’s qualification in a related field.
• Professional Engineer registration in Victoria or equivalent.
• Experience delivering major, high‑value infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end leadership of a major capital project, accountable for scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk and benefits.
• Navigate government funding, governance requirements and regulatory considerations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and partner with sponsors and executives to deliver outcomes.

Education

Engineering degree / Professional Engineer registration in Victoria
