Job summary

AECOM’s Water Infrastructure team in SEQ is expanding, offering a secure 10 year pipeline of work with hybrid options across Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast or Brisbane offices. You’ll join world‑class experts and collaborate with interstate and international offices to deliver water and wastewater projects and asset management across civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications & RPEQ / CPEng
• Ideally, 12+ years relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects including civil water networks, hydraulic/pump selection, transient analysis, buried structural pipe calculations, thrust block design
• Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards
• Passion for delivering high quality work, mentoring, leadership & collaboration and excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in technical practice leadership for our civil group.
• Provide technical guidance to the team, mentoring junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
• Getting involved in managing and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
• Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and within budget for projects in planning, design and/or construction support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors.
