Job summary

Water Corporation is seeking a skilled professional to oversee contractor-delivered works within the Construction & Reactive Projects team in WA. You will ensure safety, quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness for the organisation and customers.

You will mentor contractors, coordinate diverse teams, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to project scoping and supply. A current driver’s license is required, with support for a flexible work arrangement where feasible.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contractors in water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of hazards, risk management and control processes.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple contractors and stakeholders.
• Strong focus on zero-harm culture and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Promote a Zero Harm culture and safety engagement with contractor employees.
• Mentor and educate contractors in hazard identification and control processes.
• Coordinate and supervise work undertaken by Project Delivery contractors.
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure products and services meet needs.
• Assist in project scoping and supply of materials.
• Oversee and coordinate contractor work, providing technical guidance.
• Assist with commissioning, handover and close-out activities.
• Manage inspection and QA of sub-contractors, including drawings and minor defects.
• Assist with implementation of isolation plans and provide technical asset solutions.
