Job summary

Downer on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Crew Leader to join the Water Division in Arundel. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance of the water and sewerage network, plus minor replacements and extensions, ensuring reliable delivery of safe, high-quality water services.

Permanent role with EBA rates, Monday to Friday with a monthly RDO, plus ongoing training, mentoring and safety-focused culture. We welcome applicants with relevant licenses and Cert III qualifications.

Qualifications

• Construction Induction card (White Card) required.
• Heavy Rigid or above driver's licence required.
• Experience in water/utilities industry preferred.
• Experience operating excavators, bobcats and related plant.
• Strong communication and time-management skills expected.
• Commitment to Zero Harm safety culture expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance of the water and sewerage network.
• Manage minor replacements, renewals and extension works.
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality water and sewerage services to the community.
