Sydney Water is seeking a hands-on Production Officer to operate and maintain wastewater treatment assets, meeting licence and efficiency targets. You will report to the Northwest Hub Manager and contribute to essential environmental protection and recycled water provision for the community.

Based at the North West Treatment Hub with sites in Castle Hill, Riverstone and Rouse Hill, you will handle office and outdoor tasks while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Competenze

• Trade qualifications (electrician / instrumentation specialist or mechanical) or qualifications in engineering / science or equivalent experience.
• Current driver’s license and own vehicle with flexibility to travel within hub locations.
• Ability to commit to a rotating roster including day shifts, after hours standby and weekend roster.
• Experience in production or manufacturing within Water / Wastewater industry is highly advantageous.
• Computer skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable learning customised software package.

• Operate and maintain the plants in all conditions, aligned with safety and quality frameworks.
• Undertake daily water quality testing and adjust process control parameters.
• Contribute to prioritisation of maintenance and renewals.
• Execute on-site process and asset checks using systems and procedures.
• Manage onsite safety and works coordination with safety procedures.
