WaterNSW is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer - Water Treatment Plant (FULL-TIME) to join our team and ensure safe drinking water supply. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and field operations across storages, treatment facilities, and distribution systems.

The role requires a Water Treatment Plant Operations Certificate (or equivalent) and an MR Licence, with the ability to work as part of a multi-skilled team in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Water Treatment Plant Operations Certificate (or equivalent qualification) demonstrating capability in water treatment operations.
• MR Licence required to operate in the field.
• Experience in Water Treatment Plant operations or strong willingness to develop skills in this environment.
• Working knowledge of water treatment principles, processes and technology and ability to apply this in daily operations.

Responsabilités

• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs to keep assets running safely and efficiently.
• Respond to operational needs in the field including dam surveillance, water quality sampling and on-site activities.
• Maintain compliant potable water production in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs, operational data, chemical usage, inventory, and hazard reporting up to date.
• Support emergency and incident response activities as required.
