Job summary

Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking a Team Leader Wastewater (Construction) to lead a skilled crew delivering construction, maintenance and renewal works on the wastewater network in NSW. You will coordinate operations, manage resources and ensure high-quality workmanship to support reliable services for the community.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in water/wastewater construction, 2+ years leading teams, and familiarity with AS3500/WSAA standards; MR license and safety credentials are

Qualifications

• Qualification in Water Industry, Civil Construction or relevant discipline; 4 yrs water/wastewater construction.
• At least 2 years' experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience operating water/wastewater reticulation equipment; AS3500/WSAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew delivering construction, maintenance and renewal works across wastewater network.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and resource planning.
• Ensure safety, environmental and legislative compliance.
• Mentor and develop team members and promote a positive safety culture.
