Job summary

Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking a Team Leader Wastewater (Construction) to guide a crew in construction, maintenance and renewal of the wastewater network. You’ll drive safety, ensure quality, and support project delivery across the region.

You’ll coordinate operations, mentor team members, and engage with internal and external stakeholders to sustain reliable services for the community. The role offers a permanent full-time position with a comprehensive salary package.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Water Industry, Civil Construction or relevant discipline; minimum four years’ experience in water and wastewater construction; at least two years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate resources for scheduled works and problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction, maintenance and renewal works across the wastewater network.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations; oversee investigations and inspections; ensure assets are constructed and maintained to a high standard.
• Manage resources, support project delivery and drive continuous improvement across the network.
