Job summary

Tenterfield Shire Council is seeking a Senior Projects Engineer Water & Waste to lead and deliver key infrastructure projects across water, wastewater and waste in the Tenterfield region of New South Wales. You will command a multidisciplinary team, provide engineering input into project design and delivery, manage contracts and asset programs, and report on progress to meet standards.

The role requires a degree in a related field, proven experience in public infrastructure, and strong

Qualifications

Degree in a related field.
Experience in public infrastructure or utility services.
Project management experience.
Contract and asset management experience.
Knowledge of water, wastewater and waste regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Deliver and support capital projects across water, wastewater and waste.
Lead an experienced team and provide engineering input into design, delivery, and contract management.
Prepare capital works programs, inspect assets and report on progress.
Collaborate with the Manager Water & Waste and external stakeholders to ensure scope, delivery and monitoring meet service and compliance standards.
