Job summary

Wingecarribee Shire Council in Moss Vale NSW is looking for a Team Leader – Civil Infrastructure to lead field crews delivering programmed and reactive civil works. You will coordinate daily activities, allocate resources, monitor productivity and ensure safety and quality across sites.

This permanent full-time role offers a salary range of AU$82,918 to AU$96,364 per year plus 12% superannuation, a 38-hour week with a rostered day off every fortnight and significant development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating civil construction and maintenance plant.
• Experience leading civil maintenance and/or construction crews.
• Knowledge of civil construction standards, specifications and safe work practices. Ability to interpret basic plans, drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating plant and materials across worksites.
• Experience using works management scheduling systems.
• Strong communication and leadership capability.
• Current HR Driver's licence (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
• Traffic Control Certification (PWZ).
• Certificate IV in Civil Construction, Road Construction or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews delivering programmed and reactive civil maintenance and construction works.
• Coordinate daily activities, allocate resources, monitor productivity and quality.
• Oversee WHS requirements and coordinate plant, equipment, materials and contractors.
• Provide coaching and support to team members and apprentices.
• Report progress, site conditions, risks and issues to Supervisors.
