Job summary

REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced wastewater operator to join our team in Gladstone, QLD. The role involves operating and adjusting the wastewater treatment process, performing field tests, and reporting on plant performance.

A driver license is required, and a fully maintained company car is provided. We offer a permanent, full-time position with a Monday–Friday roster, early starts, and opportunities to advance within a global company that values safety, quality equipment,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in water or wastewater treatment operations.
• Certificate II or III in Water Operations (or similar industry experience).
• Driver license is required; a fully maintained company car is provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust the wastewater treatment process and dosing.
• Conduct field testing and prepare samples for lab analysis.
• Complete daily operation and maintenance checklists.
• Prepare accurate reports on treatment activities and plant performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot process issues to ensure continuous compliance.
• Collaborate with client and multidisciplinary team to ensure operational success.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and adjust the wastewater treatment process, including chemical dosing
• Conduct field testing and prepare samples for NATA-accredited lab analysis
• Complete daily operation and maintenance checklists
• Prepare accurate reports on treatment activities and plant performance
• Identify and troubleshoot process issues to ensure continuous compliance
• Work closely with the client and our multidisciplinary team to ensure operational success

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in water or wastewater treatment operations
• Certificate II or III in Water Operations (or similar industry experience)
• Driver license, we provide a fully maintained company car
• A willingness to learn and grow with the business
• Experience across various treatment methodologies is highly regarded
