Artemus Group seeks a Sustainability Steward to manage waste streams at the Sydney Harbour–Manly Wharf precinct. You will support cleanliness, efficiency, and environmental responsibility while adapting to a fast-paced hospitality setting.

The role requires previous hospitality or kitchen operations experience where physical tasks and night shifts are common. Join a collaborative team and contribute to sustainable growth for Artemus Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen operations is beneficial.
• Ability to work night shifts, including late finishes.
• Comfort with repetitive manual handling tasks and heavy lifting.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day roster and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Separating and managing waste streams across the venue.
• Maintaining accurate waste and recycling records.
• Operating baling equipment to process cardboard and recyclables.
• Processing food waste and supporting sustainability initiatives.
• Keeping waste areas and back-of-house spaces clean and organised.
• Collaborating with venue teams to promote best-practice sustainability.
