Job summary

gforce employment + recruitment in Ballarat is seeking Waste Truck Drivers for casual, day-shift work. Roles involve driving an HR waste collection truck, collecting general waste, recycling, glass and green waste, and supporting the team with runs as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a Current HR Licence, with prior truck driving and kerbside waste experience. Knowledge of Ballarat streets, reliability, and the ability to follow procedures are essential. Training and safety checks apply.

Qualifications

• Current HR Truck Licence.
• Previous truck driving experience.
• Current drivers licence; manual driving experience preferred.
• Left-hand-drive truck experience is highly regarded.
• Previous kerbside/waste collection experience is highly regarded.
• Good knowledge of Ballarat streets and suburbs.
• Excellent reliability and work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different runs and procedures.
• Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
• Willingness to get out of the truck and assist where required.
• Ability to pass a police check and drug and alcohol screening.

On behalf of our client, gforce employment + recruitment is currently seeking Waste Truck Drivers in Ballarat to commence immediately.

About you

We are looking for reliable, motivated drivers who take pride in their work and are happy to get the job done safely and efficiently.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current HR Truck Licence
• Previous truck driving experience
• Current drivers licence; manual driving experience is highly preferred
• Previous kerbside/waste collection experience is highly regarded
• Left-hand-drive truck experience is highly regarded
• Good knowledge of Ballarat streets and suburbs

These are casual day-shift positions, generally working Monday to Friday, 5:30am to approximately 1:54pm, with some overtime required.
