Job summary

gforce employment + recruitment is seeking Waste Truck Drivers in Ballarat for immediate start. These are casual day-shift roles, generally Monday to Friday, with starts around early morning and some overtime. The employer offers a casual rate above award and potential for ongoing work.

Applicants must hold a current HR Truck Licence and have prior truck driving and kerbside waste experience. Left-hand-drive experience and strong knowledge of Ballarat streets are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Current HR Truck Licence is required.
• Previous truck driving experience is essential.
• Manual driving experience is highly preferred.
• Kerbside/waste collection experience is highly regarded.
• Left-hand-drive truck experience is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Ballarat streets and suburbs.
• Excellent reliability and work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different runs and procedures.
• Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
• Willingness to get out of the truck and assist where required.
• Must pass police check and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HR waste collection truck safely and efficiently.
• Collect general waste, recycling, glass and green waste.
• Support the wider team with runs when required.
