Job summary

Cleanaway in Geelong is seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Drivers for permanent full-time work based at our Moolap VIC depot. You will operate Side Lift trucks for residential waste collections and deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities, performing daily checks and maintaining vehicle presentation.

The role requires a valid HR licence, a strong safety mindset, and reliability. Waste industry experience is an advantage, and you must be available through the holiday period including

Qualifications

• Waste industry experience is advantageous.
• Reliable with a good attitude and keenness to learn.
• Available throughout holiday period including public holidays.

• Work independently while being part of a supportive team.

The Opportunity

• Operate Side Lift truck for residential waste collections
• Delivering loads to dedicated recycling and disposal facilities
• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out
• Providing friendly and professional service to the community
• Working independently while being part of a supportive team

About You

• A valid HR licence

• Waste industry experience is an advantage
• Reliable, have a good attitude and keen to learn
• Must be available throughout the holiday period, including public holidays (xmas day off)
• Team player who works well with others
