Job summary

Toowoomba Ford is seeking an organised Warranty Administrator to join the Service Department, ensuring efficient administration and processing of manufacturer warranty claims in line with dealer procedures.

The role reports to the Service Manager and requires experience in automotive warranty administration, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise deadlines. Ford warranty system experience is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Ford warranty systems and processes will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient administration and processing of manufacturer warranty claims while ensuring compliance with all manufacturer requirements and dealership procedures.
Key responsibilities include:

• Processing warranty claims accurately and within required timeframes
• Reviewing repair orders and supporting documentation
• Maintaining warranty records and claim documentation
• Reconciling warranty payments and outstanding claims
• Liaising with technicians, service advisors and manufacturer representatives
• Monitoring warranty compliance and identifying claim discrepancies
• Providing administrative support to the Service Department as required

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, processes and accuracy while supporting a busy aftersales operation.
