Job summary

Allegra Hardware, a wholesale supplier of cabinet components to the furniture industry, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Member to join our Brisbane team. You will handle daily picking, packing and dispatch, maintain tidy work areas and support stock control in a fast-paced environment.

This role is full-time with Monday to Friday hours 8:30am–4:30pm. Forklift experience is a plus; strong accuracy and reliability are essential to success in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced warehouse picking/packing duties.
• Ability to accurately label and book couriers.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and daily warehouse tasks.
• Reliable team player who can work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch daily orders with accuracy.
• Use computer systems to label and book couriers.
• Assist with unloading shipments and stock takes.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and organized.
• Operate forklift if licensed (licence beneficial).
• Maintain high attention to detail in all tasks.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm

Time Off: Public holidays and Christmas/New Year period off

About the role

This is a fast paced hands on warehouse role. You will be responsible for picking, packing and dispatching daily orders, as well as general warehouse duties such as keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised.

Key Duties

• Work within a team to pick, pack and dispatch orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Confidently use a computer to label, book couriers and dispatch orders
• Assist with unloading shipments
• Assist with stocktake
• Maintain a tidy, safe and organised warehouse
• Operate a forklift (Forklift licence beneficial but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail - accuracy in picking, packing and labelling is essential
• Practical problem-solving skills - someone with the nouse to think on their feet and keep things running smoothly
• Physically fit and capable - able to perform consistent heavy lifting and warehouse duties throughout the dayReliable and motivated - takes pride in their work
• An excellent team player - works well with others but can also manage responsibilities independently
• Computer confidence - comfortable with basic systems for labelling and couriers
• Above all we are looking for a warehouse star - adaptable, proactive and someone who brings the energy and initiative to the team every day

Wage rate

Hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience and paid in accordance with the Wholesale and Storage Award, plus superannuation.
