Job summary

My People Group is hiring a Warehouse Team Member in Bayswater, Melbourne VIC for a permanent full-time role. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, with forklift duties making up about 10–15% of the day. A current forklift licence and prior forklift experience are essential.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, with paid overtime and a stable team environment in a growing family business. This hands-on role requires physical fitness and a strong work ethic, with opportunities to grow

Warehouse Team Member – Permanent Full-Time Role

Pay: $32 – $35 per hour + Super

Looking for a permanent role with plenty of hours and consistent overtime?

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit Warehouse Team Member to join a growing family business in Bayswater.

This is a permanent, full-time position for someone who wants stability, consistent hours and the opportunity to become a valued member of a great team.

This is a hands‑on, physical warehouse role — not a forklift‑only position.

You will spend most of your day on your feet, picking, packing, preparing and dispatching customer orders. Forklift operation makes up approximately 10–15% of the role, so you must hold a current forklift licence and have previous forklift experience.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who is reliable, punctual and a genuinely good team member.

The Role

Your main responsibility will be making sure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

Your day will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Preparing and coordinating orders for dispatch
• Forklift operation – approximately 10–15% of your day
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Manual handling and physical warehouse work
• Assisting with stock control and stocktakes
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Helping your teammates during busy periods

YOU MUST HAVE

Please make sure you meet ALL of the following requirements before applying:

• Current Forklift Licence – ESSENTIAL
• Previous forklift operating experience – ESSENTIAL
• Previous warehouse / pick and pack experience
• Physically fit and capable of performing an active, manual role
• Available for permanent full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
• Available and willing to work the required paid overtime
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual – we need someone the team can depend on
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude and a great team mentality
• Clear communication and willingness to help others
